ResCare Premier San Marcos, TX announces a new contract with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission
San Marcos, Texas, June 30, 2004 – ResCare Premier, a leading national provider of programs and services for persons with acquired brain injury, today announces that it has been awarded a contract, effective July 1, 2004, with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission (TRC) [www.rehab.state.tx.us]. Under the terms of the contract, ResCare Premier will provide Post Acute Brain Injury Services, which includes cognitive remediation, behavioral intervention, and daily living skills training, to individuals with brain injury. also authorizes the provision of Community Rehabilitation Program Services. This service offers vocational training to maximize opportunities for employment to individuals with disabilities.
ResCare Premier Texas offers a full continuum of rehabilitation services including Behavioral Stabilization, Residential Rehabilitation, and various long-term supported living environments. Ms. Sandra Dent, Senior Program Director and clinical coordinator of the contract noted that, “We are very happy to be working with TRC and support their mission to help Texans with disabilities lead more independent and productive lives.”

ResCare Premier is an in-network provider for many national and regional healthcare insurance companies, Workers’ Compensation insurers, The Texas Rehabilitation Commission, private payments, and on a limited basis, will enter into Security and Assignment of Proceeds Agreements. Additionally, through our Licensed and Certified Home Health agency, Supports Without Limits, we accept Texas Area Agency on Aging funding and Medicare.
