Scheduled to open in April 2004, subject to regulatory approval

and the timely completion of construction, ResCare Premier Milan will be the first of six planned locations to open in Michigan over the next 24 months.

According to Ms. Cathy Breneman, R.N., C.L.C.P., Director of Business Development for ResCare Premier, “Milan is the first step in ResCare Premier’s plan to bring programs to under-served areas of Michigan. Our goal is to bring services closer to where people live, rather than to ask people to come to where we are located.”

Located in a lovely residential neighborhood just blocks from downtown, ResCare Premier Milan will offer a community-based supervised environment that will focus on the maintenance of previous gains, support the acquisition of new skills, all the while emphasizing quality of life. “We have served participants from Michigan for over twenty-six years,” say Ms. Myra Ramos, Michigan State Director for ResCare Premier, “Our customers have requested that we come to Michigan and offer services within the state. We are starting with supported living services and will soon be offering residential rehabilitation, skilled care alternatives, and possibly even a behavioral unit.”

ResCare Premier is an in-network provider for many national and regional health care insurance companies, Workers’ Compensation insurers, and on a limited basis, will enter into Security and Assignment of Proceeds Agreements. Since opening its doors, ResCare Premier has continued to expand and develop programs to meet the diverse needs of individuals with acquired brain injury. As a unique group of interrelated treatment facilities, residential communities, and specially programs located across the United States and Canada, we offer a full continuum of rehabilitation and residential services designed to meet treatment needs “from the door of the hospital to the door of the home – or any door that opens opportunity for our participants” sm
