Premier schedules its annual Chicago Area Brain Injury Seminar for
May 12, 2006 Downers
Grove, Illinois, May 02, 2006 – ResCare Premier announces
its sixth annual Chicago area Brain Injury Seminar® which will
be held on May 12, 2006 at the Five Seasons Country Club located
at 6901 South Madison Street in Burr Ridge, IL.
The
key note presentation entitled The Road to Recovery
will be co-led by a team from ResCare Premier’s Downers Grove
program; including, Angela Hill, MSc, CCCSLP, Albert Moore, OTR/L,
and Jill Dziak, PTA, CBIS, Master Level CPI Instructor.
Joining
the seminar for the first time is Shay Jacobson, CEO, RN, MA, of
Life Care Innovations, Inc. Life Care Innovations, Inc. provides
life care management and home management services for handicapped
and disabled clients who find themselves in need of guidance and
/ or advocacy. Ms. Jacobson will be presenting Guardianship:
The Basics, a comprehensive introduction to the legal as well
as particular aspects of the subject.
The
Seminar will close with a presentation by Elizabeth Watson, MS,
CRC, CCM, ResCare Premier Downer Grove, entitled Brain Injury
and Vocational Rehabilitation, which will focus on the unique
challenges faced by individuals with an acquired brain injury as
they seek to re-enter the work force.
Registration
will begin at 9:00 A.M. with coffee and juice being offered. The
presentations will begin promptly at 9:30 A.M. and will conclude
at 3:30 P.M.. This year we are pleased to offer 4 CEU’s for
Certified Case Managers, Certified Rehabilitation Counselors, and
Social Workers. As always ResCare Premier’s Brain Injury Seminars®
are open to the public and free of charge.
